By greatly reducing the cost of replacing
accidentally discarded flatware, the Flatware Detector Restaurant Metal
Detector will save the restaurant industry a great deal of
money.
Wizard Industries, Inc. has announced the release of the
“Flatware Detector Restaurant Metal Detector.
The Flatware Detector is a specialty metal detector designed
specifically for the restaurant industry engineered to alert service
and kitchen staff whenever a metal object such as flatware or
silverware, is accidentally discarded with food scraps or other trash.
By sounding an immediate alert, the employee is able to quickly
retrieve the discarded flatware. Unlike magnetic devices, it can detect
expensive high-nickel flatware as well as silverware. A digital numeric
counter tracks the number of metal objects discarded, thereby allowing
shift supervisors to easily determine the effectiveness of the
detector, and the performance of their staff. Kitchen employees have
their awareness raised, and the product reinforces good
habits.
The detector is key-operated, preventing employees from
circumventing the detector. This feature provides restaurant owners and
managers the ability to better train staff of the importance of
avoiding flatware loss. The counter is key controlled and can be reset
only by supervisors. The detector fits snugly onto standard 32-gallon
garbage cans, the most commonly used trash receptacle in
restaurants.
Larger restaurants can spend thousands of dollars annually
replacing flatware. The relatively low cost of the restaurant detector
(MSRP $349) means that it can pay for itself in a very short
time.
The Patented Flatware Detector is available from Wizard
Industries, Inc. through FlatwareDetector.com and leading restaurant
supply dealers nationally. To find a dealer call
