C&M COUPLES™ recognized as one of the ‘best new bath & body products’ at recent Extracts beauty and wellness tradeshow
Atascadero, CA – Less than a year after entering the bath and beauty market, C&M Couples, a luxurious line of aromatherapy products designed exclusively for couples, was recognized as a Finalist in the Best New Products bath and body category at the recent Extracts tradeshow held in New York, NY, August 13-16, 2006 at the Metropolitan Pavilion. C&M Couples is a product of Life Elements, Inc., based in Atascadero.
Extracts is the only tradeshow that focuses exclusively on essentials for beauty and wellness and has become a respected source for the most creative, innovative merchandise as well as a showcase for new and unique product lines like C&M Couples who have only just begun to make their mark on the industry.

Entries that participated in the Extracts tradeshow were individually judged by a panel of editors from some of the industry’s top publications. Winners of the Bath & Body, Natural/Organic, Beauty Accessory, Cosmetic & Fragrance and Packaging categories were selected based on innovative product concept, industry need and aesthetic appeal among other factors.
C&M Couples creators Curt and Martha Van Inwegen (C&M) developed their specialty line of aromatherapy massage crèmes, bath and shower gels, linen mists, and candles earlier this year to inspire busy couples like themselves to rekindle the romance in their relationships and find new ways to reconnect.

DESTINATION RESORTS AND SPAS FIND NEW WAYS TO HELP COUPLES RECONNECT
C&M Couples® Collection from Life Elements™ is riding the wave of new trend.
Atascadero, CA - With today’s hectic lifestyles, couples are looking for new ways to reconnect and rekindle their love--and the spa and hospitality industries are paying attention. According to the 2006 ISPA Spa Goer Study, more and more couples are now going to spas to reconnect. In response to this trend, spas and destination resorts are spicing up the traditional romance offerings with luxury couples packages specially designed to help them bond. Resorts and spas now offer amenities of linen mist and candles along with couples massages, as well as retail offerings that allow guests to take the experience back home.

And the couples massage didn’t provide anything to help us recreate that experience at home either. So we developed our own” said Van Inwegen.
