Help Small Brands Grow by Pinning Them - Pin It

Walnut Creek, California  - September 04, 2007 – BOAR BLADES announces the introduction of a new, revolutionary design of reciprocating saw blades called the Boar Blade.

The blades, which come in three sizes, will be available in the US in June 2007. Initial retail marketing will be in California and online at www.boarblade.com

A BETTER BLADE
Developed by a carpenter who saw a need for greater versatility from a reciprocating saw blade, the Boar Blade has capabilities which no other blade has. There are two bi-metal cutting edges - one 7 teeth per inch and one 10 teeth per inch. The patented rounded nose (tip) makes plunge cuts simple without drilling a start hole. The blades are made from high quality M42 bi-metal steel for hours of cutting through wood, nails, pipe, sheet metal, plastic, and other tough materials. Boar Blades are 1.23mm thick for greater strength and durability under all cutting situations. Three sizes: 6” – 8” – 10”

NO NEED TO CHANGE BLADES
Boar Blades have the patented “double legged” tang for greater strength and cutting ability in the saw. There is no deflection of the blade when cutting in either direction.
The double edged construction allows the saw to stay in the cut and not have to be removed and turned over to cut back the other direction. This permits the technician to cut up and down or back and forth without removing the saw from the cut. Boar Blades save time in all demolition operations: no need to change the blade when you come to nails or metal.

PLUNGE CUTS HOLES
Plunge cuts are easy. By starting the blade parallel to the cutting surface, the saw can be gently rocked up and down- without kickback- and it will cut its’ way through the material without having to drill a hole. Boar Blades are ideal for retrofitting electrical boxes or ventilation systems. Unlike normal blades, Boar Blades can complete the cutout without removing the saw from the opening. Back and forth-up and down.

SAVES TIME AND MONEY
Boar Blades were designed for carpenters, remodeling contractors, and  demolition technicians who need to work faster and more efficiently to get the job done. As much as 30 minutes per man per day can be saved by not having to change blades, and production levels are increased because the job can be done faster. A single Boar Blade does the work of two conventional blades and for twice as long!

COST EFFECTIVE
Most other reciprocating saw blades come in packages of  (5). Boar Blades come in packages of (3) BUT that is the equivalent of (6) single sided blades. Buy (3) get (6)

and still save money over conventional blades. Due to the high quality steel used to make Boar Blades they will last longer than other blades on the market.

The Revolutionary Boar Blade For Reciprocating Saws Makes Plunge Cuts Without Pre-Drilled Pilot Holes and Cuts With Both Sides of the Blade.

After significant testing and precision design, Boar Blades, Inc. of Walnut Creek, CA has made sawing with reciprocating saws easier and more efficient with the innovative Boar Blade. Created to save time and money while increasing effectiveness, this unique reciprocating saw blade is made with a patented rounded tip, enabling plunge cuts without the need for drilled pilot holes. The steel teeth on both sides of the blade allow cuts to be made in either direction without extracting the tool, while a double-legged tang provides greater stability and control.

The distinct design and durable strength of Boar Blades give professionals and do-it-yourselfers who use reciprocating saws a more versatile way to cut through virtually any material. Solving a widespread problem for electricians, roofers, plumbers and more, the rounded tip of these blades eliminates the need for drilling pilot holes, saving time and money. Plunge cuts with reciprocating saws are made easier and faster with no kickback. Particularly well-suited for retrofitting electrical boxes or ventilation systems, the product means cut-outs can be completed without removing the saw from the opening.

Made with M42 bi-metal steel, Boar Blades cut through metal, pipe, nails, wood, and PVC easily. Its unique double-edge means the saw does not have to be removed and turned over to cut in the other direction. 1.23mm thick for greater strength and durability, there is no deflection of the blade when cutting in either direction with no need to change the blade when encountering nails or metal.

Manufactured with top quality workmanship, Boar Blades are safety green and come in lengths of 6”, 8” and 10”. There are three different tooth configurations: 7 x 7 teeth per inch for demolition and framers, 7 x 10 teeth per inch for contractors and carpenters, and 10 x 14 teeth per inch for metal cutters, plumbers, electricians, and HVAC professionals.

“The Boar Blade patented design means two things. First, ours is the only double-edged reciprocating saw blade on the market,” said Tom Shetterly of Boar Blades, Inc. “But more importantly, it means more professionals can save time and money with an easier job of cutting, and you get two cutting edges for the price of one.”

Retail pricing varies, but overall Boar Blades cost less then Lenox and a little more than Milwaukee.
