Wizard Industries, Inc. Offers Advice for Motorcycle Owners as Summer Arrives
California-based manufacturing company offers tips and advice to motorists; discusses new invention for bikers
Glendale, CA -- After receiving a Harley as a gift from a friend a few months ago, Billy Carmen, CEO of Wizard Industries, Inc., a manufacturing and marketing company, is offering tips on keeping your motorcycle clean, as well as advice on a new way to eliminate dangerous and annoying oil leaks from the garage floor.
"It's important to raise awareness on keeping your bike tough but not rough looking," Carmen said.
Carmen offers these tips on keeping the motorcycle clean:
- Have the proper cleaning mechanisms. Invest in a pressure washer to loosen as much dirt as possible and have a cleaning agent that is designed specifically for motorcycles.
- Wax on, wax off. Waxing is important to keeping the bike in mint condition by protecting the motorcycle from environmental hazards and gives the bike's paint a glossy shine.
- Drying is a two-part process. The first time will get rid of most of the water and the second time will complete the process. Use the softest towel possible.
- Keep the garage or shop floor clean too. Oil leaks that splatter on the garage or shop floor can be both dangerous and extremely hard to remove. Using items such as the "Bike Diaper," which is now available across the U.S., can provide an easy way to prevent the leaks from hitting the floor.
"One of the biggest inconveniences I've noticed with my motorcycle is keeping the garage and shop floor clean from the oil that can leak from the bike," Carmen said. "Being an inventor, it was important to me to design something to provide motorcycle owners with a safe, convenient and effective method of containing common oil leaks from parked bikes."
The Bike Diaper is a sling-mounted oil resistant soft nylon tray that hangs under a parked motorcycle's engine area. It is made to hold disposable, super-absorbent oil containment pads to contain common oil leaks from parked motorcycles.
