Wackymals

From ToyReview

Wackymals Characters

The Wackymals are an adventurous group of animals that are like no other you will have seen, each character is two unusual animals combined together meaning they have the best of both world. There are several characters that live on Wackymal Island and each one has its own personality and unique appearance. The toys are soft toys therefore suitable for most ages, some of the characters are listed below.

Characters

Tigeroo is tiger and a kangaroo put together – his bottom half likes to jump around and play hopscotch while his tiger upper body enjoys prowling in the bushes. Tigeroo has a son called Baby Tigeroo who also has these imaginative characteristics. Tigeroo is definitely the explorer of the group, he loves spending all day thinking up adventures.

Catsaurus also has an extremely unusual appearance, this one probably even wackier than Tigeroo. She has the head and front paws of a cat but the body and legs of a dinosaur! She is therefore quick and crafty due to her cat characteristics and as strong as a dinosaur.

Bumblebear was born a bear and like most bears loves honey and can’t get enough of the stuff. She is an extremely thoughtful bear and felt sorry for the bees that generated all this honey that the bears then ate. She thought to herself how great it would be if she could make the honey herself then after a strange dream found herself in the meadow on Mackymal Island half bee half bear!

Monguin is a cheeky little monkey/penguin that spends his time on Wackymal Island playing and swinging in the ice trees at Ice Tree Grove! Monguin was born a monkey but was different to all his friends – he loved the snow and always wanted to go tobogganing. His dream came true and he came to Wackmal Island and met new friends that were all unique.

Hurtle was born a horse but unlike his other horse friends he like to do things slowly and take in what was around him. He wanted to swim instead of gallop around the field but obviously as a horse he was expected to. Hurtle came to Wackymal Island as half Horse and half Turtle, hence the name Hurtle. He gets on well with the other residents on the island and loves hanging out at Sea Grass Cove where the sea is warm and the grass is long.

Wackymals were voted in the Top 10 new and innovative toys of the 2007 Toy Fair. See what all the buzz is about at the official Wackymals Website.
